Herald and Edna Elza of Bowden celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 26.
The couple were married in Elkins at the First Methodist Church on March 26, 1960, by the Rev. Melvin S. Risinger.
The couple has five children, Herald C. Elza of Elkins, Micheal L. Elza of Glenmore, Connie M. Rowe of Montrose, Patrick A. Elza of Elkins and Julie A. Elza of Glenmore. They also have five grandchildren, Matthew, Brennen, Kali, Logan and Jaden.

Their children hosted a dinner and cake was served at the Leading Creek Fire Hall. Family and friends attended.
The couple plans a trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., to tour the New Titanic.
