The Wheeling Jamboree is bringing "Jamboree on the Road" to Jackson's Mill as part of the West Virginia Educational Outreach Service Club's Annual Conference slated for Oct. 5-7.
The show, which features country, bluegrass and gospel music, is just one of many activities that will take place during the conference at the West Virginia University Jackson's Mill State 4-H Camp and is open to the public.
During the three-day conference, there will be educational sessions, craft classes, speakers and entertainment. The jamboree ends with lunch on Oct. 7.
Immediately following lunch, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Jamboree show will take place in the livestock arena at the mill.
Tickets for the Jamboree Show can be purchased at the local WVU Extension office. Tickets are $10 each with checks to be made payable to WVCEOS.
The mission of the CEOS is to strengthen individuals and families through continuing education, leadership development and community involvement.
