Making it official

September 29, 2010
READING ALOUD — Lewis County Commissioner Agnes Queen, right, reads a proclamation declaring October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in the county. Joining her in reading the proclamation are Hope Inc. representatives Terri Flint, left, and Pat Van Kirk. As part of month of activities, Hope Inc. will bring the Clothes Line Project to Friday’s football game at Lewis County High School. The shirts on the clothes line tell the stories of the survivors of domestic violence. The display will also be out at the Oct. 6 soccer game at Lewis County High School.
