October 6, 2010
By Gary Mallonee, Staff Writer

A Buckhannon police officer has been suspended for an undisclosed reason, according to Police Chief Matt Gregory.

While Gregory would not elaborate on the issue, he did confirm that an investigation of Sgt. Doug Loudin is being conducted. Gregory added that Loudin has been suspended for 30 days without pay.

Buckhannon Mayor Kenneth Davidson declined comment, and referred all questions to the police chief.
