Ben and Garnet Parker celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Oct. 17 at their native home in New Lexington, Ohio, with family and friends.
They are the parents of five children, Trixie Lou, who passed away at age 4 years and 3 months; Sue and husband, Wayne, Morgan of Elkins; Bob and wife, Wanda, Parker of Rushville, Ohio; Rick and wife, Pam, Parker of Winter Springs, Florida; and Jack and wife, Debbie, Parker of New Lexington, Ohio. They have 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
