Timberline Four Seasons Resort and Conference Center has announced the weekend entertainment lineup featuring an appearance by WWVA Wheeling Jamboree's Donnie Hoard.
Hoard will perform at the Fireside Grill and Timber's Pub. The performances will begin at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The public is invited and there will be no cover charge for the concerts.
Hoard first began performing at 9 years old on the Wheeling Jamboree. Since then his musical abilities with vocals, guitar and drums have put him on the stages of Jamboree USA, Jamboree in the Hills and the Grand Ole Opry, performing with many great country music superstars. He's been a member with various bands across the country including the Other Brothers and the 1170 Band, which was the Jamboree USA staff band.
Hoard will feature the songs of legendary singer and songwriter Merle Haggard along with his extensive repertoire of ballads and dance music.
According to Timberline General Manager Tom Blanzy, all the ski trails on the 1,000-foot vertical mountain are open with a 56- to 77-inch snow base.
The fireside Grill and Timber's Pub will feature its shrimp special on Friday and award-winning barbecue ribs on Saturday. The restaurant's full menu is available every day.
