Ken and Carolyn Johnston of Buckhannon will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Tuesday.
The couple were married Feb. 1, 1961, in Buckhannon by the late Rev. Forrest Snyder.
Mr. Johnston is a retiree of Corhart's and is involved in several volunteer organizations.

Mrs. Johnston is a seamstress and enjoys family, friends and crafts.
They are the parents of three sons, Kenny Johnston and Khris Johnston of Buckhannon and Terry Johnston of Bridgeport. The couple have five grandchildren, Kade, Corey and Kristen, all of Buckhannon, and Jordan and Lauran of Bridgeport.
