Paul E. and Gladys L. Channell of Findley Street, Elkins, celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on Feb. 3.
They were married in Oakland, Maryland, in 1942.
Mrs. Channell is the daughter of the late Floyd and Mabel Coontz. She is a homemaker and enjoys quilting and genealogy.

Mr. Channell is the son of the late Grady and Bessie Channell. He is retired from the Western Maryland Railroad and enjoys playing guitar and learning the banjo.
They are the parents of Edward, Judy, Ronald and Donald and have seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
