Dawn Janene Phillips and Adam Clay Kittle were married on Nov. 13 at First Baptist Church in Elkins. The ceremony was performed by Dr. Marvin Parli.
The bride is the daughter of Evalee Phillips of Elkins and Douglas Phillips of Mabie. She is the granddaughter of Lurenis Thompson of Elkins and the late Waitman G. Thompson and Virginia Zirkle of Mabie and the late Donald Phillips.
The bridegroom is the son of Morris and Janet Kittle of Elkins. He is the grandson of Paul and Catherine Mullins of Elkins and Beth Guye Kittle of Elkins and the late Howard Kittle.
The bride wore a white Alfred Angelo gown and jacket. The dress featured clover green accents, beading on the front and back, along with a scalloped edge train. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses, sweet pea, purple calla lilies and ivy.
Serving as maid of honor was Lara Detrick, friend of the bride. The bride's attendants were Krista Riffle, friend of the bride, Lindsay Moran, friend of the bride, Mikayla Judy, cousin of the bride, and Summer Thompson, cousin of the bride.
They wore full-length clover green satin strapless dresses with black sashes that hung the length of the dresses. They carried bouquets of various white flowers with ivy.
Serving as flower girl was Madison Birchfield, cousin of the bride.
Serving as best man was Aaron Kittle, brother of the bridegroom.
Groomsmen were Jarod Ramsey, friend of the bridegroom, Eric Phillips, brother of the bride, Josh Williams, friend of the bridegroom, and Chris Barr, friend of the bridegroom.
The pianist was Deb Super of Elkins. Guestbook and program attendants were Jill and Stephanie Wilson, cousins of the bridegroom. Bill and Melanie Dempsey of iDempsey Photography served as the wedding photographers. The flowers for the ceremony were done by Micki Barr of Feola's Flowers.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Elks Lodge. Catering was provided by Fine Food Catering. Music and karaoke was provided by Candy Lanham. The three-tier wedding cake was made by Cathy Currence.
The bride is a graduate of Elkins High School and Fairmont State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed by the Barbour County Board of Education as a third-grade teacher.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Elkins High School. He is employed by CGP Foods as a meat cutter.
Following a honeymoon to the Harman Cabins on the North Fork River, the couple resides in Beverly.
