Now isn’t that special

The time has come! Yes, the time of year has come to dig that camera out of the drawer, pop in some fresh batteries and a clean memory card and start taking pictures. Why? Because it is special occasion time!

This time of year is filled with special occasions that you won't want to forget. If you don't take pictures now, you probably don't even own a camera. The time between Easter and the Fourth of July is prime photo time.

First, we take off our long johns and put on our Easter bonnets to kick off the photo season. Last week, we saluted our mothers. You did take a picture of your mom or someone close to you last weekend didn't you? Schools are taking lots of field trips, and now for the next few weeks we will be having graduations. Everyone from kindergarten to college is excited to close out another year of education. Spring sports are in full swing, kids are running, kicking and swinging for the fences everywhere you go. Some people had the opportunity for a spring break trip and I know bunches of folks are planning a well deserved summer vacation to rest up from all these special activities. If your camera is not getting a workout this time of year , then shame on you.
