Doug and Bruce White of Buckhannon will host an open house celebration from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. May 22 in the social room of Nay Chapel Church in honor of their parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The church is located on Route 151, the old Elkins Road.
Scott and Barbra White were married Jan. 29, 1961, at Nay Chapel Church by the late Rev. Meade Gutshall.
They are the parents of three children, Doug and wife, Linda, of Buckhannon; Bruce White of Buckhannon; and Stan White and wife, Karen, of Barbour County. They also have six grandchildren, Devin, Levi, Chantel, Spencer, Ashley and Amanda White.
