The city of Weston is spearheading plans for the annual Weston's Amazing Week, which takes place June 20-25.
A West Virginia Birthday Cupcake Challenge at the Lewis County Senior Center will be June 20. There will also be a Cornhole Tournament at Lively Park at the corner of Center Avenue and Fourth Street and a Family Fun Night, taking place in cooperation with the Lewis Family Resource Network.
Organizers are also planning a pet blessing and pet parade to benefit the Lewis County pet spay/neuter program.
The highlight of the week will be the Street Fair/Antique Market on Main Avenue on June 25. Vendors interested in participating should call Kristin Droppleman at 304-269-6141.
