This year's annual car show hosted by Mountain State Classics Auto Club will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 12 at Welton Park on U.S. 220 just north of Petersburg on the South Branch of the Potomac River in the scenic Potomac Highlands.
New this year is a "swap meet" area where vendors will be able to buy, sell or trade all sorts of items.
"This is the 11th year for the show, and we are hoping it will be our biggest ever," Terry Hinkle, club president said.
Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 100 participants, and there will be games for both adults and children. Back by popular demand is the "Chinese auction" which sparked a lot of interest last year, as well as the small engine display. Free NSRA inspections will be available to registrants who wish to participate. Classic music and food will be available on site.
Anyone with an antique, classic or special interest vehicle should bring it to the show. All makes and models of cars, trucks and tractors are welcome. Spectators are also welcome.
