Mr. and Mrs. Bud Tacy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 19.
They were married April 19, 1961, in Wheaton, Maryland, by the Rev. Odell Osteen at Hughes Methodist Church.
They are the parents of five children, Denise Tacy of Elkins, Kevin Tacy and wife, Leslie, of Merryville, Tennessee, Tina Warner and husband, Bob, of Buckhannon, Patty Chenoweth and husband, Tim, of Elkins, and Lona Markley and husband, Anthony, of Elkins. They also have nine grandchildren, Alex, Amelia, Erin and Kevin Patrick Tacy, Seth Warner, Matthew and Ben Chenoweth, and Sasha Biggs and Reese Markley.
