Thomas and Wanda Watson of Southington, Ohio, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with friends and family on June 11 at Avalon Inn in Warren, Ohio.
The couple were married June 9, 1961, in Mill Creek by the Rev. Kenneth Corley.
Mr. Watson is the son of the late Rufus and Rebecca (Shreve) Watson. He is retired from Wei Steel.

Mrs. Watson is the daughter of Edward and Mable (McGee) George. She is a homemaker.
The Watsons are active members of the Nazarene Church of Leavittsburg, Ohio.
They have three children, Carl Watson, Pamela and husband, Mark, Martindale and Brenda and husband, Greg, File. They also have nine grandchildren.
