Teter CEOS met for lunch and its regular meeting Aug.18 at Faith Lodge on the Hackers Creek Road.
Following a lunch prepared by Ann Sternaman, the meeting was called to order by President Jusine Woody. Devotions, "Letters from God," were presented by Pearl Vincent. Millie Hornbeck led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Minutes of the last meeting were given by Janet Smith, and the treasurer's report was given by Iris Mae Swecker.
The lesson, "Healthy Body, Healthy Mind," was presented by Pat Strader.

In old business, the club voted to give $100 to Millie Hornbech to purchase gifts for third-floor residents at St. Joseph's Hospital.
In new business, National CEOS Week is Sept. 4-10, and Teter CEOS will decorate a window. Janet Smith, Justine Woody and Millie Hornbeck will be in charge. Judging for the window will be Sept. 6.
A Mini Fair will be hosted at the courthouse plaza on Sept. 9. There will be a bake sale with canned items and crafts.
The fall fundraiser will be Oct. 8 at Way of Holiness Church with tupperware bingo.
Breast Cancer Awareness will be Oct. 3 at a place to be announced.
The meeting was adjourned. The next meeting will be at the home of Vonnie Hagers at 1 p.m.
