Three children of the late Charles and Madaline Booth will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a joint open house from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Belington Fire Hall.

Kenneth "Woody" Booth married Joyce Katherine Bibey on Sept. 19, 1961, at Coldwater, Mich. The ceremony was performed by Judge Fred J. Renshaw.

Mr. Booth is the son of the late Charles and Madaline Booth.

Mrs. Booth is the daughter of the late Fred and Zora Bibey and Betty Bibey of Akron, Ohio.

They reside on Turkey Run Road, Buckhannon. They have three children, Kim Suder, Sonya Stalker and Shawn Booth, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Harold Booth married Charlotte Campbell on Dec. 18, 1961, at St. Johns Methodist Church in Grafton. The ceremony was performed by the late John J. Mobley.

Mr. Booth is the son of the late Charles and Madaline Booth.

Mrs. Booth is the daughter of the late Clayton and Mary Campbell.

They reside on Stringtown Road, Belington. The have five children, the late Harold Booth Jr., Shiela Ford, Pamela Simmons, Nelson Booth and Charles "Chuck" Booth, 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jeanie Booth married Jimmy Coontz on Nov. 18, 1961, at Belington Methodist in Belington. The ceremony was performed by the late Rev. John Holbert.

Mrs. Coontz is the daughter of the late Charles and Madaline Booth.

Mr. Coontz is the son of the late Gene and Edna Coontz.

They reside in the Talbott community, Belington. They have three children, Tonda Spear, Tammy Tallman and Tara Johnson and six grandchildren.

The couples' children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will host the celebration with a special tribute to the couples beginning at 5 p.m. All family and friends are invited to attend.
