Naomi and Dick Pennington of Harman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 30 at the old home place of Doris and Alonzo Ours.
The couple were married on Aug. 19, 1961, at Cabins Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Moore officiating. They spent their honeymoon at Niagara Falls, N.Y.
During the celebration, friends and family gathered under a large tent in the front yar of the home for food and fellowship. Under a second tent was a display containing the anniversary cake, yellow roses, gold candles and photos of the couple taken over the years. Music for the occasion was provided by the Rev. Brady Goldizen, Jeremy Watts and Jason Ours.
