Lisa Koerner and Chris Perry were married on Aug. 27. The outdoor ceremony was officiated by the Rev. David Hartzfeld at The Kingwood Center, a former estate garden, in Mansfield, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of Chesley and Brenda Koerner of Helvetia. She is the granddaughter of the Rev. Ralph Summerfield of Blue Rock and the late Mavadell Summerfield, and Elwood Koerner of Helvetia and the late Shirley Koerner. She is a graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School and received a Bachelor of Science in environmental science from Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg, Va. She received her master's degree in urban and regional planning from Virginia Tech. She is employed by Ohio State University as a researcher for the Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas project.

The bridegroom is the son of Frank and Sharon Perry of Ashland, Ohio. He is the grandson of Louis DeLitizia of Toms River, N.J., Beverly Stetson of Ashland, Ohio, and Morgan and Shirley Perry of Buckhannon. He is also a graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts in strategic communications from Ohio State and is employed by Columbia Gas Transmission.

The bridesmaids were sister of the bridegroom, Brianne Perry, and friends of the bride, Jennifer Johnson, Jessica Lancia and Annie Crary.

The groomsmen were brother of the bridegroom, Lee Perry, brother of the bride, Daniel Koerner, and friends of the bridegroom, Bobby Green and Stephen Rist.

Jessica Koerner, sister-in-law of the bride, and Lindsay Linkhart, friend of the couple, assisted with programs and other details.

The bridesmaids wore dark teal satin dresses and the men wore dark gray morning jackets with pale yellow vests.

The bride wore an ivory satin, fit and flare gown with a sweep train and crumb-catcher and rosette back detail. She also wore a birdcage veil with ivory feather fascinator.

The bouquets of the bride and bridesmaids and the corsages and boutonnieres were arrangements of homegrown gladiolus, zinnias and dogwood berries. The flowers were arranged by the bride and Gwen Hinzman, aunt of the bridegroom.

The wedding cake as a cupcake tree baked by the bride and iced and decorated by aunts of the bridegroom, Gwen Hinzman and Becky Wagoner, and sister of the bridegroom, Brianne Perry.

Wedding pictures were taken by Dana Romanoff, a friend of the bride, who documented the wedding in a photojournalistic style.

A luncheon reception was hosted on the front lawn of the mansion. Tables had centerpieces of white larkspur in dark teal vases and small globe jars of rock candy stick bouquets.

The couple took a brief honeymoon trip to Kelleys Island and Put-in-Bay in Lake Erie, Ohio, and plan an extended honeymoon later.

The couple resides in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
