Jennifer Weaver of Philippi is the recent recipient of the Young Trust Scholarship from Broaddus Hospital. The scholarship was made possible by a generous contribution from the Guy and Marie Young Trust.
Weaver has been an employee of Broaddus Hospital for approximately 10 years. She has worked in various areas, including registration, radiology and in the emergency department, where she is currently an LPN.
Weaver graduated from Philip Barbour High School, and she graduated from the Randolph Technical Center as a licensed practical nurse in 2009. The scholarship funds will assist Weaver in completing her RN associates degree at Davis & Elkins College.
