December 3, 2011
The Inter-Mountain

Bishop Keith Coen began ministering in 1980, and he has had the privilege of pastoring in four church in West Virginia, including the Elkins Church of God for nine years. Each church was blessed with extraordinary growth, with three of the congregations growing beyond their buildings and into new churches.

Coen has taught seminars in many states, including serving as camp meeting speaker in Ketchikan, Alaska, and speaking at youth revivals in Kitchener, Ontario. In 2002, he developed Next Level Ministries, whose goal is to assist local churches in the biblical government structure. In recent years, he held the position of associate bishop in Macon, Ga., and in Mansfield, Ohio, before returning to the Elkins area.

Coen will speak at 7 p.m. each Wednesday at Tygart Valley Ministries Beverly Community Church, on main street in Beverly. The church's executive pastor is the Rev. Curlie E. Ray Jr.
