The Elkins' Downtown Merchants would like to extend a warm and sincere thank-you to area residents for shopping local throughout the past year. By supporting local businesses, money is kept in the community and recycled many fold over. During the past weekend, Dec. 2 and 3, a promotion was conducted by 21 businesses in which shoppers were entered into a drawing for gift certificates. More than 380 shoppers took advantage of the opportunity and the five winners can spend their certificates at any of the participating businesses.
We are deeply rooted in the community both financially and socially; we appreciate your continued support as we work together to make Elkins a more desirable city.
