Community supports center

December 17, 2011
The Inter-Mountain

Editor:

The Expression of Colors Autism Resource Center had its grand opening on Thursday, Dec. 1. We had a wonderful turnout and would like to extend a special thank you to the community for joining us in celebrating this special occasion. Along with the warm welcome from the citizens of the Elkins area, we also received phenomenal support from the local businesses.

Expression of Colors Autism Resource Center would like to take this time to give our appreciation to the Elkins-Randolph Chamber of Commerce and the following businesses for their generous contributions to our event. We would like to thank Domino's, Papa John's, Darren's Pizza Shack, Little Caesars, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Subway, Shop 'n Save, ACE Hardware and Builder Supply. Also we wish to acknowledge with gratitude the Tygart Valley Public Library for its charitable aid of 100 copies, and a special thanks to Gloria Shaffer and Heather and Chris Stanley for their provision of computers for our resource room.

Expression of Colors hopes to make a difference in the lives of autistic individuals and their families, along with raising awareness about autism. Once again, we would like to thank the community and all organizations that graciously gave their time to assist us in making this gathering a possibility.
