I am against a National Park for this area.
It would hurt the economy more than it would help it. The timber industry would suffer greatly. The natural gas industry would also suffer greatly.
You can't do this and you can't do that is the biggest issue that I have. I'm sure hunting and fishing would eventually be shut down with expensive permits. Without hunting and fishing, local campgrounds and sporting good stores would go out of business.
This would create more government jobs and less private sector jobs. I'm sure this issue will effect the next election.
