Zack Ryder suffered a broken back in a falls count anywhere match against the big red monster Kane at WWE Raw in front of a sellout crowd at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
Kane choke-slammed Ryder through the metal stage and his girlfriend, Eve Torres, was in shock as Ryder was rushed to a hospital in Phoenix. Also, Dolph Zigler & The All-American Jack Swagger defeated the team of John Cena and WWE champion C.M. Punk. R. Truth defeated the Miz; so Miz will be the No. 1 contender in the Royal Rumble match Sunday.
The Funkasaurus Brodus Clay defeated Heath Slater, who is from Pineville. Sheamus defeated Jinder Mahal.
