Mr. and Mrs. Eric Canfield of Montrose announce the birth of a son, born on Jan. 16, 2012, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon. The infant weighed 6 pounds, 14 1/2 ounces, and has been named Austin Gene Canfield. The mother is the former Shelly Cox. Maternal grandparents are Bonnie Cox and the late Ralph W. Cox Sr. Paternal grandparents are Penny and Harry Canfield.
