Samantha and Jeff Nelson of Elkins announce the birth of a son, born at 4:26 p.m. Jan. 20, 2012, in St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon. The infant weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and has been named Jeffrey David Nelson. Siblings include Sara, Seth and Addison. Maternal grandparents are Donna Carr and the late David Carr and Mark Dague. Paternal grandparents are Shirley Nelson and the late David Nelson.
