Plans in the works

March 24, 2012
The Inter-Mountain

Editor:

The Elkins Kiwanis Club is in the process of planning its annual spring blood analysis. The screening will take place on May 5 and May 12 from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Randolph County Senior Center, located on the corner of Railroad Avenue and Fifth Street.

The multiphasic program is reasonably priced with 39 separate tests which include a chemistry and lipid panel and a complete blood count. Other tests are available for an additional cost. Fasting is very important for accurate results.

These tests are to assist you and your doctor in checking on your good health. If a problem is found, your doctor can immediately assist you in returning to good health. The blood analysis testing is one of the Elkins Kiwanis Club's most important community service projects.

If you have any questions concerning the testing, call the Pennsylvania Automated Services laboratories at 1-800-524-3414. We are interested in making your time at the test site as short as possible.

Please mark you calendars for Saturday, May 5, and May 12, starting at 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Watch for the placards in the mail and the ads in the newspaper as additional reminders.
