For approximately the last four months, candidates have posted signs, spoken at public forums and knocked on a lot of doors. For that same amount of time, voters hopefully have gathered information, considered pros and cons, and joined in some discussions with others about where to mark the ballot.
All the candidates, whether newcomers or incumbents, throughout our coverage area have positive attributes and strong ideas to bring to their respective potential offices. In many races, it may be rather difficult to make the choice of one single candidate.
The most important decision to make is simple: get out and vote. It's your right, and it steers the course of your future and that of your community.
If you haven't already taken advantage of early voting, make a point to cast a ballot on Tuesday. Polls are open in all counties throughout the state from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
