Tickets are now available for the 34th annual Tucker County Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.
The nominations have been submitted and the secret committee has made its selections. The following citizens will be recognized:
Educator of the Year: Eric Emch
Student of the Year: Katie Clevenger
Employee of the Year: Faithe "Luanna" Bava
Business Person of the Year: Cade Archuleta
Community Service Award: Sandy Green
Special Recognition: "Tactics" Group
Tuckineer: To be announced
The banquet will be held May 17 at Canaan Valley Resort. The social begins at 6:30 p.m., with dinner being served around 7 p.m.
Tickets for the event are available by calling the Chamber of Commerce office at 304-259-5315. The deadline for tickets sales is Monday.
