Editor:
I keep reading in the paper about trash and litter and what the County Commission and Solid Waste Authority think should be done about it.
It appears to me that they want to put more trash into the landfills instead of recycling. If they make everyone pay for trash service, people will quit recycling.
Are they out to help all of the citizens of the county or just a select few?
Maybe they could look into ways to have a free trash pickup day once a month. This would help people on a fixed income. Some people recycle and haul their own trash.
