Matthew and Emily Thornhill of Montrose announce the birth of a daughter, born at 2:18 a.m. Jan. 17, 2012, in Davis Memorial Hospital. The infant weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces and has been named Emma Grace Thornhill. The mother is the former Emily Nestor. Maternal grandparents are Tommy and Amy Nestor of St. George. Paternal grandparents are Chuck and Carol Thornhill of Montrose. Great-grandparents are Jeannie Burns, the late Delvin Burns, the late Bliss and Lecy Nestor, Dora Thompson and the late Kermit Thompson.
