The Pilgrim's Pride Moorefield transportation department has selected Mike Crites as its "Driver of the Month" for January, and Casey Snapp was selected for February.
Crites works in the Moorefield live haul department and has been employed with the company since May 23, 1988.
"Mike is an outstanding driver; he has perfect attendance and works well with his co-workers," said Tim Cullers, Crites' supervisor. "Mike performs his duties and completes his paperwork correctly. He has not had an accident or violation and his vehicle inspections are always complete and accurate. He is very safety conscious at all times."

Snapp works in the Moorefield hatchery department and has been employed with the company since Jan. 19, 2009.
Carl Thompson, Snapp's supervisor said, "Casey has great attendance and will help in other departments if necessary. He keeps a positive attitude and always gives 100 percent efforts in his job performance. He does an excellent job maintaining his equipment, keeps his paperwork completed properly and has not had an accident or violation. He keeps his vehicle inspections up to date and is also very safety conscious."
Pilgrim's Pride's "Driver of the Month" is a program that has been implemented to recognize Pilgrim's Pride CDL Drivers in Moorefield for their outstanding merit and work ethic. Employees selected for the program have exhibited outstanding work characteristics in the categories of attendance, teamwork, attitude and job performance.
