Children gather under buckets waiting to get wet at the new pool at Lewis County Park that opened on Saturday. The pool has four different slides, including a double slide. There’s also a children’s pool, which features a whale fountain, along with a beachfront entry area lined with gushing fountains. Admission is $3 for the pool and an additional $2 for anyone who wishes to use the slides and is 48 inches or taller. The pool is open from noon to 6 p.m. every day.
