Sarah Smith receives national recognition

Sarah Smith has been inducted into the Alpha Mu Chapter of The Rho Chi Society at West Virginia University School of Pharmacy.

Membership in Rho Chi is the highest honor the profession of pharmacy can bestow on select individuals based on their academic excellence. Becoming a member of Rho Chi is an important accomplishment that comes with both privileges and responsibilities. Members of the society must adhere to and promote the highest ideals in pharmacy, both scientific and cultural.

Smith is a 2007 graduate of Elkins High School. She is the daughter of Matt and Angie Shockley, of Canaan Valley, and Gene and Lisa Smith, of Amma. She is the granddaughter of Dave and Sue Senic, of Alpena, and Kitty Smith, of Evenwood, and the late Gene Smith.
