Members of Buckhannon's American Legion Auxiliary Unit 7 recently announced newly elected officers for the coming year.
Leona Goff, chairperson of the nominating committee, read a list of candidates that had been approved at a previous meting. The slate of candidates was elected and will assume duties at the July meeting.
They are as follows: Connie Bailey, president; Marge Kleckner, first vice president; April Whitfield, second vice president; Jessie Marsh, secretary/treasurer; Katrina Myers, sergeant at arms; and Loretta Dawson, historian.
The group will meet again on Tuesday.
