So many people are quick to point fingers of blame or complain about what they didn't like about any number of things. Not many people are told that they did a great job or are appreciated.
I hear so many of these negative comments about our hospital, Davis Memorial Hospital. I believe those comments are anything but true.
I would like to take this opportunity to give my heartfelt appreciation to many employees of Davis Memorial Hospital. I was admitted with severe pain that resulted in the removal of my gall bladder. The people who took care of me were compassionate, caring and efficient. Those employees are Dr. Bobes and the ER staff, Dr. Joel Hummer, Dr. Caren Thompson, Dr. Kerry Rodgers and his assistant, the OR staff and the North Two nursing staff (especially Rosemary McDonald, RN).
I hope others will follow my lead and acknowledge the ones who do a good job. They deserve to hear it.
