Katherine-Jeane Rose McDonald and Gary Lee Sandy Jr., along with their families, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Raymond and Debbie McDonald of Belington, and the granddaughter of Bud and Carole Higgins of Elkins and Rose Shaver of Philippi. She is a 2008 graduated of Philip Barbour High School and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia Junior College with a degree as a dental assistant. She is employed by Wilson Martino Dental of Bridgeport.
Her fiance is the son of Gary and Debbie Sandy of Bridgeport, and the grandson of George E. Sandy of Bridgeport and Ellen (Louise) Morris of Annmoor. He is a 2006 graduate of Bridgeport High School and has been employed as a welder at Top Brand Inc. of Fairmont.
