The Tucker County Senior Center has several events planned for next month.
Goldenaires Choir plans day program
The Goldenaires Choir will kick of the Independence Day holiday on Thursday. As part of the group's weekly singing, the later portion of the program will be dedicated to the celebration of our country's independence with special songs and readings. The festivities will begin at10:30 a.m. and continue until the serving of lunch at 11:30 a.m.
Enjoy the fireworks
The Tucker County Senior Center will welcome senior citizens to the Mt. Top Center in Thomas on Saturday evening for fellowship and fun as they view the fireworks from the facility. Those planning to attend should call the center as soon as possible because of limited transportation and parking.
Parsons Outpost canceled for July
Because of the Independence Day holiday, there will not be a Parsons Outpost in July.
Senior Center schedule set for Independence Day
The Tucker County Senior Centers will be closed on Monday in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Please note that the centers will be open on July 4.
Caroline Pell celebrating 90th birthday
The family of Caroline Pell is hosting an event at the Davis Fire Hall at 3 p.m. July 7 to celebrate her 90th birthday. An invitation is extended to all of her friends to join in the event.
