Icie Poling will celebrate her 90th birthday on Monday.
An open house will be hosted in her honor from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Elkins Manor Community Room.
She was married to the late Hubert E. Poling on Nov. 2, 1938. She is the mother of four children, Lyda and wife, Sandy, of Elkins, Wayne and wife, Nam, of Annandale, Va., and Karen Butcher of Beverly. One daughter, Marie Strahin, is deceased. She also has 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Mrs. Poling worked as a nurses aid for many years at Davis Memorial Hospital.
