State Director Bobby Lewis recently announced that U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development approved a Rural Business Enterprise Grant of $70,300 for Adaland Mansion Development Inc., in Barbour County.
Rural Development funds will be used to provide high-speed Internet access to the Adaland Mansion. Access will enable the applicant to provide on-site marketing, business activities/trainings and meetings. Funds also will provide necessary marketing opportunities for local small businesses.
Rural Development serves as the lead federal entity for rural development needs and administers program assistance through its housing, business, community and infrastructure programs.
