Courtney Gear of Elkins and Justin Thompson of Whitmer announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Virginia Gear of Elkins and the late Michael Gear. She is a 2006 graduate of Elkins High School.
Her fiance is the son of Orville and Norma Thompson of Whitmer. He is a graduate of Alleghany College of Maryland's occupational therapy assistant program.
