RESA 8 will offer a 34-hour hazardous materials awareness and operations course starting at 6 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Seneca Rocks Volunteer Fire Department.
Additional dates will be determined at the first class. Mike Alt and Jerry Bowers will be the instructors.
This class meets the NFPA 472, 2008 Standard. The costs are covered through a grant from the West Virginia Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
