James Steven Young, 55, of Route 1, French Creek, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, in Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington.
He was born in Upshur County, on Jan. 2, 1957, a son of the late Ray Augustus and Martha Rebecca Lee Young.
Surviving are his wife, Karen Arnold Young; four brothers, John Bruce Young and wife, Monna, of French Creek, Larry Ray Young and wife, Cara, of French Creek, Thomas Wayne Young of French Creek and Stanley Ray Young of Weston; one sister, Mary Roseann Young of French Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three infant children, Sarah Jewell Young (Nov. 2, 2000), James Harold Ray Young (June 13, 2001) and Mariah Gale Young (Nov. 5, 2002).
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. from the funeral chapel with the Rev.
