FAIRMONT - The Elkins High?School golf team captured a dual match at Fairmont Senior Monday in Big 10 Conference action at Fairmont Field Club.
Elkins won the match with a 162, while Fairmont Senior had a 167.
The Polar Bears' Nick Sinclair earned low-medalist with a 35.
The Tigers top scorers were Braden Hammond with a 37, followed by Alex Baird with a 40, Kollin Hopwood 42, Kole Hopwood with a 43 and Kelsi Trippett with a 45.
Elkins travels to Robert C. Byrd today for a Big 10 Conference matchup.

SNOWSHOE - The Tygarts Valley High School golf team placed second in a three-team match at the Raven golf course.
Gilmer County won the match with a 208, followed by Tygarts Valley with a 209 and Pocahontas County with a 226.
Highland County's Tyler Botkin shot a 43 to earn low-medalist.
The Bulldogs top finishers include Alex Hinzman 49, Jared Wegman 52, Cody Grimmett 53, Casey Martel 55, Jace Kyle 56 and Paige Pritt 56.
Cody Sharp led Pocahontas County with a 49.
TVHS travels to Tucker today.
