EHS grad is princess

Jillian Marie McClure of Elkins has been chosen as a princess in the 76th Mountain State Forest Festival by Director General Mike Karlen.

She is the daughter of Melissa and Sean Clayton of Clarksburg and Kevin McClure of Buckhannon and the granddaughter of Vic and Linda Thompson of Elkins and Betty McClure of Elkins and the late Ralph McClure, Karen Clayton of Clarksburg and the late Sebert "Zeke" Clayton. She has a stepbrother, Wyatt Clayton, and one brother, the late Joshua "JT" McClure.

McClure is a 2010 graduate of Elkins High School where was active on the varsity softball team, was a four-year letterman, two years on second team, two years first team NCAC All Conference and All-State honorable mention her senior year. She was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and student council. She plays church league softball and is an active member of the First Baptist Church. She is a dispatcher with the Randolph County 911 Emergency Communications Center.
