Two Davis & Elkins College Student Veterans Association representatives, Mark Lanham, left, president, and Josh Larkin, vice president, meet television journalist Katie Couric during the Robin Hood Veterans Summit. The all-day symposium was conducted aboard the USS Intrepid Museum in Manhattan, N.Y. The D&E representatives were invited to attend by retired Adm. Michael Mullen, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. D&E currently is listed as a ‘Top Military-Friendly College,’ which reflects the college’s commitment to those who have served, and continue to serve, their country. The Student Veterans Association is very active on the D&E campus and is featured on the college’s website, www.dewv.edu/campus-life/student-veterans.
