Emery D. "Ed" and Sylvia C. Gray celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 30.
The couple were married at the First Baptist Church in Elkins by the Rev. Robert S. Lowndes.
Mrs. Gray, the former Sylvia C. Plemmons, is the daughter of the late A. Theodore and Lou Eden Plemmons.

Mr. and Mrs. Emery Gray
Mr. Gray is the son of the late Emery E. and Mable M. Gray. He served in the United States Air Force and the couple lived in several places for 21 years. After retiring, they settled in Elkins, where they reside today.
The couple has two children, Joseph Gray and wife, Beth Merten, of Maryland, and VeVica Gray of Elkins.
