Smoking regulations might get out of hand

Editor:

I am writing in reference to article in the paper about banning smoking in the city park.

I just wonder what will be next. No smoking in your house, car or anywhere in Elkins?

I think there are already too many rules and regulations. They can't even stop all the drugs and making of meth that's going on under their noses. That's a lot worse than smoking a cigarette, which is legal.

If cigarettes are banned, they should ban drinking, too. Now that would get everyone up in arms.

At least you're not going to smoke a cigarette and go out and shoot somebody like you would with drugs and drinking.

Look at all the people charged with domestic battery. They were drinking or on drugs, not because they smoked a cigarette.
