September 17, 2012

The Frank B. Bartlett Post No. 7 of The American Legion recognizes the work of future leaders, the members of the Cub Pack No. 106 of Sand Run Baptist Church.

During the primary election in May, the Cub Pack participated with The American Legion in its Get Out To Vote Campaign. The boys distributed more than 200 door hangers and fliers within the community, sending out a reminder for residents to go vote.

The Cub Pack members also received a special certificate of achievement for their participation in the Get Out To Vote Campaign from West Virginia Secretary of State Natalie Tenant.

On Aug. 28, they celebrated these and other accomplishments with a hot dog roast at the home of their den leader.
